Charles has specialized in executive recruiting and project management for more than 25 years. He has a solid background in all facets of Executive Search and has extensive experience dealing with retained search at the President/CEO level. His expertise also includes executive assessment/coaching, compensation analysis & design, strategic planning, leadership development and succession planning for the industry. Charles has been a speaker and author on HR related topics such as Board Governance, Strategic Planning, Succession Planning, Recruitment & Retention Strategies, Onboarding, Career Advice and Personality/Profile Testing. Prior to starting Shanley Search Partners, he built and ran the search practice at JMFA for over 13 years and has worked for many years as a recruiting executive in other large recruiting firms, specializing in financial institutions for retained, contingency and contract/project placement. Prior experience also includes placing top executives in the areas of finance and accounting as well as engineering. The avid outdoorsman received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Angelo State University, is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and has received/maintains his SPHR, SHRM-SCP and CFS certifications.

Courtnee’s specialty has revolved around client relationships, candidate recruiting and leadership development. She has a vast knowledge in digital sourcing strategies matched with old school recruiting techniques. Her balanced approach has led her to be one of the most successful and credible managers and recruitment specialists in the industry. Her goal is to build strong, long term, mutually beneficial relationships with candidates and clients alike. Courtnee also specializes in the development, training and management of current and new recruiters, marketing, contract negotiation, coaching, sales, and candidate assessments/profile testing.
